Vous faites surement allusion aux funérailles de Victor Perez Cardona, un Portoricain de 73 ans, chauffeur de taxi de son vivant, et qui souhaitait, après sa mort, être présenté à ses proches et à ses amis au volant de son véhicule, qu'il a conduit pendant plus de quinze ans dans les rues de Aguas Buenos.
C'est sa fille Generosa Perez qui a respecté les dernières volontés de son chauffeur de père. "Il a toujours aimé faire des blagues, raconte-t-elle, et il était tellement investi dans son métier qu'il souhaitait que ses proches l'honore de cette façon après sa mort."
Les nombreuses personnes qui sont venues lui rendre visite avant son dernier départ étaient autorisées à le photographier, car il était une star locale, on le surnommait dans la commune "VitIn le chauffeur".
Après le recueillement en salon funéraire, Victor a quitté le volant de son taxi pour rejoindre son cercueil, et l'enterrement s'est déroulé de façon habituelle.
